To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Jennifer Scandle, a Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania graduate. I received my B.A in Elementary Education degree K-6 from Bloomsburg in 2011, and then obtained my Pennsylvania teaching certification. Since then I also have obtained certification to teach in Michigan, where I lived and taught fourth grade. As my family relocated due to military orders, I recently obtained a teaching certificate in Georgia. I am also currently attending graduate school for administration with a concentration in curriculum. I am writing all this with great interest in your current open position.

I believe that many of my experiences throughout my undergraduate and professional career make me a good fit for your school. During my undergraduate career I had the chance to experience many different sides of teaching, I was able to teach in various grades as well has demographic areas. Since graduating I have subbed in local Michigan districts and held a Pre-k teaching position in Farmington Hills, Mi. I am currently a first grade teacher at Chattahoochie County School District. Previously, I taught two year of fourth grade teacher at Albion Community Schools. As a teacher I have had the chance to work with Promethean Boards and Ipads in my classroom. We also provide STEM and try to incorporate these areas in classwork everyday. I am also familiar with using Café’ and daily 5 for reading within my classroom. I also have a lot of experience with making curriculum that I teach daily from, my last district currently did not provide us with curriculum.

I feel that every moment counts when you are in the classroom and that as a teacher I am obligated to provide each child with my very best, as well as expecting that from my students. I am a young and dedicated teacher, that loves learning and new ideas, which will help make me a good fit with other faculty to accomplish a set goal. I would love to become part of your faculty and continue to grow as an educator. I would like to thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank You
