Hello! Thank you for visiting my site!  I have just started teaching 1st grade at Chattahoochee County Education Center in Cusseta, Georgia.  This will be my third full year of teaching.

I grew up in a small coal region town in central Pennsylvania where I completed high school 2006.   I am a military wife and a mother of a three-nager. Outside of family and work, something I enjoy doing is running.  In my academic journey I graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.   I am currently completing my master's degree at Michigan State University in Education Leadership K-12. I hope to work with curriculum after obtaining my degree.

I always knew I loved working with children, however I did not want to always be an elementary teacher.  It was not until actually aiding in my nephews' class that I realized I wanted to switch my major from adolescent nutrition/dietetics to elementary education.  Since graduating with my undergraduate degree, I have taught in three different grade levels 4th, 5th, and currently 1st.  I have also have teaching experience in Pre-k.   Within each classroom I have always strived to not only teach the students academics but also good character traits. My goal is no matter what my students will always leave my class learning something either academically, behaviorally but best of all my hope is both. I love what I do and enjoy the connections and relationships I make each year.
